Frequently asked Questions

Still not sure? Here are a few details.

Which coding agents work with Dart?
You can connect Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, Cursor, Devin, and Jules. You can also run Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other coding agents on your own machine as a local agent.
How do I give a coding agent a task?
Assign the task to the agent, or mention it in a comment. Dart sends it the task's title, description, and link, plus the comment thread when you mention it.
Where does the code go?
The agent works in the GitHub repo you set up for it and usually opens a pull request there. When it's done, it comments on the task with a link to the pull request.
What happens to the task when the agent finishes?
By default, Dart hands the task back to whoever assigned it. You can also choose which status the task moves to when the agent starts, finishes, or has a problem.
